Senior Quality Assurance Officer

Reporting to the Senior Quality Product Lead you will be providing oversight on operational activities, while reviewing and updating SOPs and Controlled Documents. As a Senior Quality Assurance Officer you will have the opportunity to train and coach Operations Staff, as well as other Quality Assurance colleagues and support areas controls.
Main responsibilities:
Providing QA oversight on different activities
Implementation and development of SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and Controlled Documents
Local area and system updates
Batch record review through an online system
Continuously improving quality assurance operations and overall performance of the quality team
Supporting training and mentoring of new quality staff
Understanding emergency procedures and completely with safe systems of work
Perform local system and area audits
Main requirements:
Relevant science based degree; e.g. Chemistry, Biology, Pharmacy preferred
Previous experience working within a pharmaceutical quality function, ideally "steriles"
Previously experience working within equipment or facility validation, ideally "steriles"
Performing internal audits
Working knowledge of the principles and guidelines for GMP
Excellent report writing skills
Ability to work within a team, but also independently while being a problem solver
Able to work 12-hour shift patterns, 4 days on and 4 days off in Swindon
