Percival Recruitment’s Future Grants Programme

Adam Allnutt

Our aim is to use the expertise we have to build a recruitment practice focused on charities and not-for-profit organisations and use half of distributional profits to invest in a grants programme for the organisations we work with in that year. The other half will be used to invest in our for purpose business to build an organisation that is focused on improving recruitment practices and raising the bar in the sector, reflecting the values of Community, Giving and Integrity.

After the end of each financial year we will announce the total profit for Percival Recruitment and establish the fund that will be distributed to the charities we have worked with. The fund will be held in a corporate foundation with half distributed back to the charities we have worked with in the proportion of funds spent on recruitment that year. The other half will be available for the same charities to place bids for certain projects they are looking for funding in form of restricted grants.

We will invite the charities we work with to apply for the restricted project focused grants and the members of the Percival Recruitment team will assess the applications, making the decision on the winners that will be announced at an Annual Awards Ceremony.

The Annual Awards Ceremony will be a chance to celebrate the work of the charities we have partnered with and announce the grants that will be provided back to the sector. This will act as an annual occasion to bring together all the staff and partners we have worked with that year to grow the impact of Caritas People beyond placing charity professionals.

With Percival Recruitment in its development phase, it is likely that the first awards round will be in or after April 2025.
