Fundraising Recruitment Practice

At Percival we know how hard it can be to secure the talented fundraising and income generation professionals so we take a skilled discovery led approach to working with our not-for-profit partners. We use the latest technology, our networks and the highest level LinkedIn Recruiter accounts to identify and contact passive and active candidates and steward them through to a new role.

Our Fundraising Recruitment Practice is led by our Recruitment Director Adam Allnutt, who has a strong track record in delivering successful search’s from Director and Head of level to Manager and Officer level, tailoring our approach to each position and organisation.

At Percival we have placed a number of roles across all income streams from officer to director level, including a Director of Development at an Arts Charity, Development Officer and Trusts and Grants Lead at Future Youth Zone, Interim Head of Trusts and Statutory Fundraising and Head of Relationship Fundraising at Royal Voluntary Services, Individual Giving Manager at We Are With You, Senior Supporter Experience Officer, Senior Trusts & Statutory Fundraising Manager, and Digital Fundraising Manager at Mencap, Partnerships Officer, Trust and Foundations Fundraising Manager and Corporate Partnerships Manager at West London Zone, Philanthropy Manager at St Raphael's Hospice, Fundraising Manager at Magic Me, Philanthropy Manager at Turn2Us and many more.

Trust and Foundations Fundraising Manager and Corporate Partnerships Manager at West London Zone

West London Zone are a £5 million plus charity that helps children and young people build the relationships and skills they need to get on track socially, emotionally and academically to thrive in adulthood. They do this by building trusted relationships, providing specialist support and joining up each child’s support system, including families, schools and local organisations, to deliver a personalised 2-year support plan for each child.

We worked actively with the HR and fundraising team to help them recruit for a Corporate Partnership Manager and a Trust Fundraising Manager after the roles had remained unfilled directly and from another agency.

We met with the hiring manager and through after two discovery meetings we gained a full understanding of the requirements of the role and with our expert knowledge we planned a process. Using the highest access LinkedIn Recruiter accounts, strategically placed adverts, the latest CRM and our extensive networks we used our understanding to contact passive and active candidates to bring into the process. After contacting and meeting with a range of candidates for the positions our team identified and stewarded the best talent through the processes and placed the two hard to fill roles the first time round.
